The opening ceremony of New Gawadar International Airport, $ 246 million project funded by China, has been delayed for the third time.

According to the sources, the inauguration ceremony scheduled for January 1, 2025 has been postponed by Pakistan Airports Authority due to unavailability of government officials.

The delay has also impacted the flight operations at New Gawadar International Airport which was also scheduled for January 1, 2025.
