PAF Set to Perform First-Ever Fly-Past at Champions Trophy in Karachi

For the first time, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft will perform a fly-past during the opening ceremony of the Cricket Champions Trophy in Karachi on Feb 19, Tomorrow.

As part of the event, the designated air corridor will be closed to facilitate the fly-past.

According to the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen), the corridor will be active from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM from February 17 to 19 for both the fly-past and its rehearsal.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued instructions to airlines regarding the fly-past.

As per the NOTAM, Pakistan Air Force aircraft are scheduled to perform the fly-past on February 19 during the Champions Trophy ceremony.

Meanwhile, commercial flights arriving at Karachi Airport have been advised to exercise caution. Additionally, airlines have been instructed to ensure that their flights carry extra fuel as a precautionary measure.
