The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Maulvi Hebatullah Akhundzada, pointed out that the western countries do not want to see Afghanistan prosper, citing their attempts to damage the nation’s trade and economy.

During his visit to Kandahar University yesterday, the Afghan Supreme Leader, while addressing the professors and students said that foreign forces have attempted to undermine the country twice in the past.

“The resolve and religious commitment of the Afghan people thwarted western conspiracies,” he applauded.

Akhundzada urged the Afghan people to actively contribute to the country’s development and not rely on external forces.

He called on the nation to work diligently, stressing that peace, stability and development can only be achieved by work hard now.
