The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) have successfully intercepted several illegal smuggling attempts in Balochistan, particularly in the Jiwani, Pasni, and Uthal areas, according to an official statement from the PCG spokesman.
According to the spokesman of PCG, the illegal smuggling of 915,440 liter Iranian diesel has been thwarted on intelligence base (IBO) operation in South Balochistan and Sindh.
Additionally, during the operation in Uthal and Jewani PCG has seized 34.505 Kilo gram of hashish, preventing smuggling both within country and abroad. The confiscated drug valued at approximately $0.57 million in international market.
In addition, the CGP has also foiled attempt to smuggle of various goods includes Gutka, betel nuts, naswar, tire, electronic items, imported cloth and cigarettes worth Rs.30.6 million, during checking at their road check posts.
The PCG also made significant recoveries at their road checkpoints, where they intercepted various contraband goods, including Gutka, betel nuts, snuff, tires, electronic items, imported cloth, and cigarettes. The total value of the smuggled items was estimated at Rs.30.6 million.
