Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued notice to airmen (NOTAM) that the New Gwadar International Airport will officially start operations from January 20.
The CAA has informed all airlines through NOTAM that the airport will be operational for flights from January 20, with initial flights being operated by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
This marks the first official written confirmation regarding the airport’s operational status.
According to the CAA, both local and foreign airlines have expressed interest in launching flights to and from the New Gwadar International Airport.
