The general Aviation area of Karachi Airport become the risky zone due to the presence of stray dogs, creating serious risk for flight safety.

Stray dogs are frequently seen freely roaming around Taxiway, posing danger to aircrafts.

Sources have revealed that last evening, a stray dog narrowly avoided a collision with an aircraft. Following the incident, a flight departing from the General Aviation Hangar had to be cancelled due to possible accident.

Sources while expressing fear that stray dogs could collide with planes passing through the taxiway at any moment, potentially leading to a major accident.

The continuous presence of stray dogs at General Aviation Area highlights a significant negligence by the Pakistan Airport Authority (PAA) and also a threat to the safety of flights.

There is a constant transportation of training aircraft in the general aviation area and the roaming dogs increase the risk of a major incident.

This is not an isolated incident, Stray dogs have previously been spotted near the main runway and even around the Jinnah Terminal, raising further concern about the overall safety at Karachi Airport.
