The United States has imposed sanctions on four Pakistani entities for their alleged involvement in supporting to advance the Pakistan’s ballistic and long range missile programme.
The US State Department spokesman, Matthew Miller said in a press briefing that the four Pakistani entities are accused of helping Pakistan to advance its ballistic missile program.
The four entities came under US sanctions includes Pakistan National Development Complex (PNDC) located in Islamabad and three Karachi based companies, Affiliates International, Akhtar and Sons Private Limited and Rockside Enterprise.
US claims that the PNDC is leading Pakistan’s ballistic missile programme and has worked to acquire items to advance long range ballistic missile programme.
The other entities were accused of supplying equipment and technology to Pakistan’s ballistic and long range missile programme.
According to Matthew, this support also includes the production of special vehicle chassis that are used for launching ballistic missiles.
Earlier, US listed Chinese and Belarusian entities on charges of supplying equipment and material for long range missile programme of Pakistan.
